Colonel Patrick Malay, USMC, gave a briefing on the Iraq war at the Ocean Institute in the Dana Point Harbor on April 28 in front of 200 attendees. Malay, the Commander of the 5th Marines Regiment stationed at Camp Pendleton, was one of four officers and enlisted men to speak at the event on U.S. activities and accomplishments during their overseas assignments. At the briefing Malay thanked the citizens of Dana Point for their continuing assistance to the Marines 5th Regiment and their families.
